“M” Butterfly was the play about the real story of a French diplomat who had an affair with a Chinese male transvestite for many years (who was really a spy for the Chinese Communists), with out ever realizing that the person was in fact a man. The spy even presented a child in the relationship as being theirs.
Well apparently there was a telephonic version of that in the recent Manti Te’o Notre Dame incident (which at least is a bit more plausible since it was on the telephone). Still however, BSC.
