Swaziland is cracking down on high-flying witches by banning them from flying above an altitude of 150 meters. Anyone caught flying a broomstick above the limit faces arrest and a hefty fine of about $50,000, according to the country’s civil aviation authorities.

And in other new that should have run in the Daily Prophet, last year, a leading Swazi MP called for a hike in tax paid by witch doctors to help ease the country’s financial crisis.

It probably staged but I still liked it.  I do remember in high school a kid who could blow smoke out of his ears by holding his nose and blowing hard, so it might be possible.  But then again, she did not hold her nose.

The Mars One project hopes to establish a human colony on the Mars by 2023. More than 78,000 people have applied for the chance to leave Earth forever and live on Mars. Real-time video of the project will be sent back to Earth making Mars One a huge reality TV show.

Mission candidates will go through a two-year selection process before training for another seven. Then they’ll head for Mars, never returning to Earth. The project has received applications from over 120 countries.
